Dahlia, typeface

Dahlia is a display serif typeface, useful for headlines or short to medium-length texts, released through French type foundry vj-type. Like all of their releases, this typeface is distinctive of the foundry's love of Art Nouveau and atypical shapes. It comes in 3 weights (regular, medium, bold) and 2 widths, (normal, condensed). Jérémy Schneider's choice of letters endings and curves were inspired by flower stems, burgeons and spines. We drew 93 stylistic ligatures, and each letter is designed so that the transition from one letter to the next remains melodious.
